Maximizing your efficiency across any energy process
The Energy industry is among the most profitable industries in the world as it is essential for powering the everyday lives of people across the globe. The industry is estimated to be worth around $1.7 trillion dollars globally and employees millions of individuals worldwide.
Every customer we work with has their own individual path to digital transformation, but each one tends to face similar problems within the Energy industry:
Companies we work with typically operate numerous unmanned remote sites with assets that require consistent inspection and monitoring. They have all come to realize that sending human personal to these sites is extremely expensive and inefficient.
Many of the companies we talk to on a regular basis already have devices in place to collect the data they need. But a problem they run into is that they don’t have an effective system to analyze the data for intelligent insights, which essentially makes the data meaningless.
Regulations are strict across the entire Energy industry, and it costs our customers hundreds of thousands per year to remain compliant. This is due to their lack of an effective digital strategy to minimize their established manual processes.
In order to digitally transform the operations of your company, you must begin acquiring reliable data from every asset and process that needs optimization.
Pressure sensors are effective for gathering data from any asset or equipment that needs to maintain certain pressure levels, such as pressure within the interstitial space of a dual-wall storage tank or pipeline. Temperature sensors allow you to maintain safe operating temperatures and prevent damage on any piece of equipment. Our various flow meters will allow you to calculate and optimize the flow rates and volume of your product with the highest level of precision. If your requirements extend beyond pressure, temperature, and flow, we have you covered as well. We are dedicated to helping you find the optimal solution for any type of data your operations require.
With your network of sensors now gathering data, the next step is to aggregate it to a centralized software portal via one of our industry standard methods — WiFi 6, Satellite, LTE, and Mesh — or explore other connection opportunities with us.
LTE is the most cost effective and reliable method of aggregation for areas that have connection to cellular signal. Mesh networking is excellent for reducing power consumption over a broad area of devices, such as sensors along a pipeline. Satellite is the best option for the most remote areas in the world as it is able to provide connection virtually anywhere. Using these connectivity methods to aggregate the data to Systems Quality Control (SQC) — our software interface — allows you to easily store the data, visualize it, and configure workflows to streamline your business metrics.
With your data aggregated onto SQC, analysis can then be performed using a method best suited for your specific application; Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and/or Deep Learning.
Our fundamental Artificial Intelligence (AI) models are a great way to detect changes in pressure or temperature drops/spikes of your equipment, indicating potential problems. Using more advanced AI models such as Machine Learning and Deep Learning allows for the analysis of trends to predict future problems, while the models continuously learn and improve upon themselves with each calculation they make. We are committed to helping you find the optimal deployment for each method in your operations.
Your final step towards transformation is to implement a system that takes all of the data you have acquired, aggregated, and analyzed, and turn it into action.
Our two main methods for data action are Machine to Human (M2H) and Machine to Machine (M2M) communications. M2H communications are effective for alerting you via text or email when a problem is detected in one of your assets or pieces of equipment, such as a drop in pressure level within your pipeline vent system. M2M communications allow for your machines to talk to each other and adjust their operations based on data insights, such as a machine shutting off when extreme temperatures are reached. Our team will explore your operational requirements and work with you to implement the best suited data action into your processes.
